The Royal Rwandan Association of Knighthood and Nobility serves to unite those granted the honor of knights, nobles, and loyal patrons of the Royal House of Rwanda. The Association is responsible for the maintenance of Rolls of the Royal Court, the official listing of a sampling of all individuals currently holding an honor from the Crown of Rwanda. It is also responsible for recordkeeping of membership donations and distribution to the King Kigeli Foundation or direct humanitarian or educational activity. The Association also assists in educating both former Rwandan subjects, current citizens of Rwanda, and interested parties in the history, culture, and tradition of the Crown.
As the Crown of Rwanda is currently not the ruling power in the country, our organization is set up as a non-profit organization and is pursuing 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America. Therefore, payments made to the Association may be tax-deductible (please consult your local tax advisor as the Royal Rwandan Association of Knighthood and Nobility does not give tax or legal advice).
The President of the Association, who is elected annually by the board of directors, is responsible for general operations and may create and fill positions within the Association to execute the Crown's vision. The board also elects a Treasurer, who is responsible for financial record-keeping and interaction with the IRS and other parties necessary to be a non-profit organization.
If you have an interest in supporting the Crown of Rwanda or assisting those with humanitarian needs, you should consider joining the Association today.
